The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding and services for people living with a disability/chronic condition so they can reach their goals and seek the support they need. A variety of services are funded under the NDIS, for example providing funding to see an Allied Health Professional (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and many more), assistance with domestic cleaning, daily personal activities and care, grocery shopping, workplace, home or vehicle modifications and transport services.

The NDIS determines if you’re eligible. We’ve outlined some of the important criteria below. Are you between 7 and 65 years old? Do you live in Australia and have Australian residency? Do you usually need support from a person because of a permanent and significant disability? Do you use special equipment because of a permanent and significant disability? Do you need some supports now to reduce your future needs?
