Senior Physiotherapist
Clinical Director
Tamana has been a physiotherapist for close to a decade, working across a pretty diverse range of settings including cardiorespiratory and orthopedic wards at NSW Health, aged care, musculoskeletal rehab, and the disability sector. She genuinely loves the variety that comes with this work, and the different perspectives it's given her when it comes to understanding what people actually need.
She has a particular interest in disability, orthopaedicand geriatric physiotherapy. Her approach is pretty simple: work together, listen well, and make sure treatment actually fits your life and your goals. She believes the best outcomes happen when people feel heard and involved in their own care, not just told what to do.
Tamana is also a big believer that the person in front of her is more than just their diagnosis. Getting to know her patients, what drives them, what they're working towards, and what their day-to-day looks like, is just as important to her as the clinical side of things.
When she's not in the clinic, you'll find her doing Pilates, getting lost in an interior design project, planning the next event or trip, or catching up with family and friends. She also speaks fluent German and Dari, a little French and Croatian. (She also spent six years studying Latin, which, while not especially useful for small talk, does make her excellent at decoding medical terminology! :D)
